Rompe impulsos en 30s

Halto - Break Urges in 30 Seconds

Science-based breathing app for impulse control

The 5-20-5 Breathing Technique

Halto uses a science-based breathing method to help you break urges in just 30 seconds:

Inhale for 5 seconds - Breathe in deeply through your nose
Hold for 20 seconds - This activates your parasympathetic nervous system
Exhale for 5 seconds - Release slowly through your mouth

The extended breath hold increases CO2 in your blood, redirecting blood flow from arousal centers to your prefrontal cortex, interrupting the urge response.

Key Features

10-Level Progression System - From 5-second holds (Level 1) to 60-second holds (Level 10)
Real-time Haptic Feedback - Tactile guidance for breathing phases
Emergency SOS Mode - Immediate help for intense urges
Progress Tracking - Monitor your improvement over time
Privacy-First Design - All data stored locally on your device

The Science Behind Halto

The technique is based on respiratory physiology and neuroscience. Extended breath holding increases blood CO2 levels, which triggers parasympathetic nervous system activation (rest and digest response). This redirects blood flow from the limbic system to the prefrontal cortex, interrupting urges. Similar techniques are used by Navy SEALs for stress management.
